Hospital Policies

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. However emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable.  Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your convenience, drop off appointments are available. A drop off means you can bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a few hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off between 8:00 am and 9:00 am so our doctor can examine your pet in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, they will give you a call to go over the diagnosis, discuss treatment options and give you discharge instructions.

Patient Medical Records Policy

In order to ensure we provide the most effective healthcare for your pet we require a copy of their medical records 24-48 hours prior to their appointment.  This is particularly important for surgical procedures to ensure all vaccine and health checks have been performed as necessary.  If there are any questions we can also get them addressed prior to the surgery date.

Patient Arrival Policy

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets.  Therefore for your protection, and that of others, we require that all patients be in a pet carrier or on a leash and properly controlled while in the parking area, reception or exam rooms.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, and CareCredit.
